According to tweets from people who attended the Bonaroo Festival over the weekend where Kanye performed, the multiple award winning rapper stopped his set to deliver a ten minute rant about the importance of hard work, believing in yourself, and well, just being Kanye West. And then he took a shot at his former bff, reportedly telling his fans "Let's be clear. Ain't no b*tch gonna pull that Solange ish on me."

Police Ordered To Arrest Sanusi, New Emir Of Kano, For “Fraud”

According to reliable sources at the Presidency in Abuja, the team of policemen at the Emir’s palace in Kano received the order from the Nigeria police headquarters to place Mr. Sanusi under arrest if he leaves the Kano Governor’s lodge.
The sources told SaharaReporters that Mr. Sanusi was to be arrested at his private home on Sunday night after his appointment was announced by the Kano State Governor. It would be recalled that the presidency embarked on several frantic measures to frustrate the former CBN governor’s emergence as Emir, including the premature congratulations of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to one of the candidates before the choice was announced.
Since becoming Emir, Mr. Sanusi has been inside the Kano State governor’s lodge, receiving visitors and undertaking traditional rites.
The source also told SaharaReporters that some notable northern leaders have already warned President Jonathan to avoid such a reckless action so as to avoid setting fire to the already volatile situation in the city of Kano. It is not known if President Jonathan is favoring back channel dialogue aimed at resolving the mess. Observers point out that he has yet to offer congratulations to the new Emir despite the PDP doing so.
Since ousting Mr. Sanusi from the CBN last February, the President has not relented in seeking to inflict serious damage on him for revealing that the President and his cronies stole at least $20 billion from crude oil sales over a two year period.

A day after DJ Khaled was on ESPN's First Take, frequent collaborator Lil Wayne appeared on the program today (June 11) to give his opinion regarding the championship series.The Young Money rapper says the Miami Heat will win the NBA Championship in seven games, despite losing 111-92 to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 at home yesterday (June 10). Lil Wayne says that unlike the First Take hosts Steven A. Smith and Skip Bayless and DJ Khaled, who all picked the Heat to win Game 3, he knew the Spurs would take the victory.
“It’s the influence Pop have on the team,” he says, referencing Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich. “They have like one of the rarest teams in the league that actually still listen to the coach.”
For the Heat, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade both scored 22 points. Mario Chalmers has started at the point guard for all three games and has scored three, five and two points in each matchup.
“If (Chalmers) ain’t showing up that he’s not ready to play like he’s been showing, he has to sit down,” says Lil Wayne.
James has had an inconsistent series. He left Game 1 in the fourth quarter with cramps. He scored 35 points in a Game 2 victory, but had a quieter Game 3 going 9-of-14. Lil Wayne says that the Heat will be able to overcome this stumble.
“Last night was obviously...it was something I probably woulda never see again,” the rapper says. “LeBron has a killer instinct, but it’s off and on.”
Weezy calls Heat fans beautiful and denies that they are fair-weathered.
“If the team’s winning, you’re supposed to root for them,” he says. “They need motivation.”
During the First Take segment, co-hosts Steven A. Smith and Skip Bayless get in a heated argument over comparisons of LeBron James to Michael Jordan. Lil Wayne sits back and smiles through most of it, but does offer his own opinion at the end. “Nobody’s Michael Jordan,” he says.
Lil Wayne is expected to release Tha Carter V later this year.

38yrs old man arrested with fresh human head in Lagos
Policemen attached to Orile division, Lagos have arrested a 38-year‑old man for allegedly being in possession of a fresh human head.
The suspect, identified as Mustapha Bakare was arrested, Tuesday evening, around White Sands by a team of anti‑robbery policemen on patrol.
Bakare was reportedly sighted with a polythene bag and was stopped for a search. Rather than comply, he reportedly took to his heels, holding firm to the polythene bag, an action that was said to have aroused suspicion.
The policemen reportedly chased and apprehended him. When asked to disclose the contents of the bag, he hesitated.
Confirming the arrest, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Braide, said when the bag was eventually searched, a fresh human head was discovered.
According to Braide, “The Police team that arrested the suspect was led by Inspector Bernard Oyinlade while they were conducting a stop-and-search operation near White Sands area of Orile.
“The team stopped the man who resides at 63B, Church Street, Ijora Badia, while he was walking along the road with a polythene bag. They immediately called for a search but he took to his heels. He was pursued and subsequently arrested and during search, a fresh human head was found inside the bag.
“The suspect is undergoing interrogation and will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department, Panti, Yaba for further investigation.”

Finally! Governor Fashola slashes LASU school fees
Announcing the reduction at a press conference yesterday in Alausa Ikeja, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Fatai Olukoga said after much deliberations by the adhoc committee set up by the Governor to look into all the grey areas of the proposed new fees, the Governor yesterday adopted the committees recommendations and approved the reductions.
“Government agrees that with the subsidized tuition fees and appropriate moderation of incidental fees, a reduction ranging from 34% to 60% is possible across the different faculties and courses. Government has therefore approved the reductions and, in accordance with the law setting up the university, forwarded its approval to the institution’s Governing Council for implementation. The council will issue details of what is now payable by students in each department" Olukoga said
Olukoga also said the reduction in fees would not
affect the state government's release of research fund, scholarship,
bursary provisions and promised that the government's spending on
infrastructure and physical development of LASU will continue.
