This, in part is due to the educational system that elevates theory-based study and written examination over other forms of learning.

The effect is that many of our graduates cannot think beyond what they have learnt in the University, find it difficult to apply theories to life situation and generally do not know how to think outside the box.

 The Graduate Finishing School is geared at repairing this imbalance by offering graduates, and young professionals skills for life – those things that are not ordinarily taught in school or university.

Through the Graduate Finishing School, we aim to help participants complete the educational experience and differentiate themselves.

At the Graduate Finishing School, you will discover everything you have always wanted to know about image development and generating presence.

You will also be equipped with the business and social skills that will help you become a polished professional able to make a lasting impression on clients.

Modules include: 

Business Etiquette	how to build, nurture and master the element of good business etiquette
Elocution and Public Speaking	how to pronounce words, grammar, diction, syllables and word stress
The Polish that Generates Presence	social etiquette, what to do and not do in public
Communication Skills	including letter writing and confidence building
Dining Etiquette	how to eat in public using different cutlery, posture at the dinner table etc
Style and Sensibility	business dressing for different occasions and how to be a lady/gentleman
Transformational Leadership	leading change and influencing people
Interview Skills	presentation and preparation
